SBI Card has appointed Vinod Kumar G. as Vice President and Head of Cybersecurity Operations. He joins SBI Card after working for 2.5 years as Deputy General Manager – Cyber Security Governance, Global IT at HCL Technologies.
Vinod Kumar began his career in cybersecurity as the lead solution architect at Data Secure Solutions in 2008. In 2011, he joined the MothersonSumi Infotech & Designs as Lead-Cyber Security Operations.
He was appointed Key Account Manager – Cyber Security & IT Infra. Services at MothersonSumi Infotech in 2014. Vinod Kumar joined HCL Technologies in 2019.
With an experience over 19 years, Kumar has expertise in driving information and cybersecurity, SOC operations, threat and vulnerability management, risk and compliance management, managed security services, project governance, global IT operations, and infrastructure service management.
SBI Card, his current organization, has over 13 million credit card customers (as of December 2021) and is the India’s second-largest credit card issuer.
