Yotta Data Services Pvt. Ltd. has hired Shashank Bajpai as Head of Cybersecurity Operations. He was formerly the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at fintech major CredAble.
At Yotta, Bajpai will be reporting to Milind Kulkarni, the firm’s CTO, and working closely with Rajesh Garg, the company’s head of cybersecurity practice.
Bajpai gained domain expertise in cybersecurity, infosec strategy and technology risk through a decade-long career in the information security domain.
As CISO at the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd. (Ministry of Commerce) and head of cybersecurity at ACKO General Insurance Ltd, he also led the corporate IT infrastructure. governed the entire end-to-end information security risk posture and designed, drafted and implemented several key cybersecurity policies, controls and processes.
He started his professional career as a security developer with the e-security team at CDAC Hyderabad. Following this, Bajpai joined Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. as manager for cloud security and security strategy.
In 2016, Bajpai joined EY as an advisory consultant for cybersecurity and IT risk advisory for financial services.
