Global cybersecurity leader Forcepoint has announced the appointment of Archie Jackson as Data Security Strategist, Customer Success for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
With over two decades of experience, Jackson is a highly respected figure among the regional C-suite, holding honors such as the CIO100 Hall of Fame and CSO100. His background spans cybersecurity, cloud transformation, and Secure Service Edge (SSE) infrastructure, making him a strategic asset for Forcepoint’s regional expansion.
Strategic Oversight in an AI Era
In this new role, Jackson will bridge the gap between complex security strategy and practical implementation. He is tasked with helping organizations protect sensitive data within increasingly AI-driven environments. His focus includes:
- Advising on modern, self-aware data security architectures.
- Guiding the adoption of Forcepoint’s AI-native capabilities.
- Providing regional insights to global product and engineering teams.
“Organizations are struggling not because they lack tools, but because they lack clarity about their data and how risk changes over time,” said Jackson. “My goal is to help customers connect strategy and architecture so data security becomes something they can trust and act on.”
Addressing Data Fragmentation
The appointment comes as organizations face rapid data fragmentation. Bjorn Engelhardt, Forcepoint’s SVP and GM for APAC, noted that sensitive data is moving through AI workflows faster than traditional controls can respond. Jackson’s expertise will help clients adopt a “Self-Aware” approach that continuously adapts to these shifting risks.
Jackson’s move to Forcepoint reinforces the company’s commitment to long-term partnerships with CIOs and CISOs across APAC, ensuring businesses can evolve safely in a distributed, cloud-first world.
