Envoy Global, an immigration services provider, has appointed Subhajit Deb as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The company offers an immigration management platform that helps businesses in hiring and managing international workforce.
Deb said that as Envoy Global deals with people’s data, his primary focus will be on improving the company’s cybersecurity posture.
Deb will be based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Deb previously worked at Dhani, a digital finance and digital healthcare services provider, as Executive Vice President and Head – Information Security and Data Privacy.
Deb also previously worked at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as the global CISO and DPO. Dr Reddy’s and its group companies, Aurigene Pharmaceuticals, Aurigene Discovery, and Svaas Wellness, operated in various locations, and was responsible for leading and managing information security, data protection and privacy programs at 19 different geographies.
In addition to healthcare, Deb has also worked as a cybersecurity leader in the banking industry. He began his career as a cybersecurity leader at Bank of America, where he held the position of Manager – Global Information Security. Deb thereafter went on to work for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as an Assistant Vice President and Head of Information Security and Business Continuity.
Deb was appointed as CISO of Max Life Insurance Company Limited in 2016.
