Enhanced models of the Hitachi VSP G series and new versions of Hitachi flash modules with in-line data compression (FMD DC2) rounded out the new storage arrays.

The Hitachi Automation Director, for self -service provisioning of flash storage, and Hitachi Data Centre Analytics tools have also been enhanced.
