Godrej & Boyce Appoints Ambarish Singh as CISO

Ambarish Singh has been appointed the new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Godrej & Boyce.

Godrej & Boyce, a Godrej group company, started making locks in 1897 and now has engineering capabilities in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods and furniture, precision manufacturing and aerospace, infrastructure production, and industrial logistics, as well as real estate and power distribution.

Singh will be in charge of the manufacturing company’s cybersecurity and risk management domains in his new role.

Singh worked as a Senior Manager – Information Security at Flipkart before joining Godrej & Boyce. He used to be in charge of different areas of cyber security, including enabling security to ensure secure business operations.

Singh previously worked for the CIRT Navy (Indian Government), where he was responsible for the preparation, implementation, and execution of vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and digital forensics.

His previous role included end to end security audit, vulnerability assessments, drafting of organisation-specific policies and procedures, ISO 27001 and client work monitoring.

He’s also been involved in vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and digital forensics. His previous mandate also included the creation of processes that are aligned with the organization’s policies and ensuring that they are implemented.
