Benjamin Ambrose has been appointed by National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). NCPI is an umbrella organization that runs India’s retail payments and settlement systems.
NPCI is an initiative of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Indian Banks Association (IBA) that was created in accordance with the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
Ambrose is a former Senior Security Consultant for AWS with headquarters in Singapore. Additionally, he has held senior managerial positions at Citi in the past.
He is a seasoned information and cyber security professional with more than 20 years of experience in various information security domains such as cloud security, securing digitalisation initiatives, audit management, technology compliance with IS-related regulatory requirements, information security oversight, and governance.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bharathiar University.
