CSB Bank Appoints Venugopal Parameswara as CISO

CSB Bank has hired senior cybersecurity leader Venugopal Parameswara as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his new role, he would be responsible for driving the company’s cybersecurity initiatives.

In his previous role as the CISO of Equitas Small Financial Bank, Parameswara led the company’s various programs on Cyber security, Cyber Threat hunting, and statutory and regulatory compliance and certification programs. He has managed and consulted numerous Corporate Information Security Programs. In his previous engagements he was responsible for developing and deploying the Information Security Program covering governance, risk and compliance.

He comes with expertise in Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance, Information Security Audit, Information Security consulting, Cybersecurity Incident Management, Threat Hunting, Enterprise Security Architecture, Information Technology Governance, Strategy and Plan, Project Management, Ethical Hacking and Penetration testing and Research on new cyber attacks, malware and exploits.

Parameswara has more than 24 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Auditing, Security Governance, Compliance program management, Threat Intelligence, Business continuity and Disaster recovery.
