CrowdStrike and EY Announce Expansion of Alliance to Provide Joint Cyber Offerings to Help Combat Ransomware and Accelerate Zero Trust
EY has chosen CrowdStrike Falcon as one of its preferred cybersecurity technology platforms
CrowdStrike Inc. and Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) announced that CrowdStrike Falcon has been recognised as one of EY’s preferred cybersecurity technology platforms, further cementing the two companies’ partnership. The alliance’s expansion into new geographies is accompanied by the introduction of new collaborative offerings, including Ransomware Readiness and Resilience, Incident Response (IR), Recovery and Remediation, and the acceleration of Zero Trust capabilities.
The CrowdStrike-EY Alliance seamlessly combines cybersecurity operations and risk management to assist businesses all over the world and strengthen their business resilience. As the collaboration expands outside of the United States, the CrowdStrike and EY teams are committed to assisting customers in new areas. The alliance has recently grown to include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, and Italy.
Combating Ransomware Threats and Attacks
Ransomware attacks are a significant focus of the EY and CrowdStrike collaboration, as this type of malware attack continues to acquire traction and sophistication from both cyber criminals and state-sponsored threat actors. Ransomware attacks exploit security flaws at various levels, including people, process, and technology, and continue to affect businesses of all sizes, from tiny firms to large multinational corporations. As a result, EY and CrowdStrike experts have collaborated to develop the Ransomware Readiness and Resilience solution, a multi-pronged approach to efficiently combat these threats.
The Ransomware Readiness and Resilience solution combines EY Next-Generation Security Operations and Response (NGSO&R) services with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to provide industry-leading protection and detection capabilities, as well as cyber threat intelligence and 24/7 threat hunting, to provide a leading solution in the fight against ransomware threats. The technology provides enterprises with rapid, real-time visibility into their organizations’ environments, allowing them to identify and eliminate potential compromises and prevent silent failure. This potent combination aids in the quick containment of active threats immediately and effectively mitigates the threat of ransomware attacks.
