These printers will give SOHOs a competitive edge by offering greater print speeds, versatile connectivity, high paper capacity and high page yield and in turn help them increase productivity, save time and money. MAXIFY printers provide cost efficiency and scalability for small business owners, making them an ideal partner as their business grows.

Mr. Gautam Paul, Assistant Director & Head – Consumer Systems Group, Canon India, said, “The number of SOHOs in tier I and tier II markets is increasing by the day. Canon wants to tap this opportunity. With our new MAXIFY series, we will help SOHOs across different verticals get advanced security, network and cloud connectivity features, and reduced print cost. They will get professional-quality documents and fast print speeds, along with the ability to extend their office beyond its physical location. With MAXIFY printers, SOHOs will save up to 50% on print cost.”

Keeping in mind the needs of the SOHOs, the MAXIFY range caters to high volume printing requirements with a duty cycle of upto 30,000 prints per month. For business with extensive printing needs, the MAXIFY MB5370 & iB4070 inkjet printers are equipped with two 250-sheet paper cassettes. For organizations with moderate printing volumes, the MAXIFY MB5070 accomplishes their needs with a single 250-sheet cassette.

MAXIFY printers are compatible with the optional XL Cartridges which offer a yield of approximately 2500 pages black and 1500 pages color prints. MAXIFY printers also feature high print speeds of up to 23 ipm mono and 15 ipm color. With first print out time as low as 7sec for black-and-white prints, MAXIFY is equipped for high productivity work environments.

Canon has also introduced new Dual Resistant High Density (DRHD) pigment inks which demonstrate high water and marker resistance. The printed text characters are razor-sharp, while colour images show a high level of photo-realism. Productivity is also enhanced by the inclusion of a single-pass-2-sided Auto Document Feeder (ADF) scan engine. The MAXIFY MB5370 is the first Canon desktop inkjet printer to feature a DADF. The built-in twin scanner sensors allow double-sided documents to be scanned in a single paper pass, reducing the time taken for duplex scanning dramatically.

Empowering business owners with networking facilities, the wireless LAN feature allows not just Desktops & PCs to connect to the printers, but also smartphones and tablets, allowing people to print while on the go. MAXIFY Printing Solutions (MPS) app compatible with iOS and Android OS platforms allows printing of PDF, images and other office formats from mobile devices. Scanning is also possible with the MPS app. The integrated MAXIFY Cloud Link service adds on cloud access functionality by allowing printing from and scanning to cloud storage providers such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Evernote. With the MAXIFY Printing Solutions application, users are provided direct access to the cloud through MAXIFY Cloud Link from compatible mobile devices and tablets.

The MAXIFY series is equipped with operations and settings restrictions features. Users can set limits on the device to help manage their printing costs. If required, the USB front port of the device can be disabled to prevent confidential documents from being copied onto portable flash memory and removed from the workplace. These printers also offer custom profiles settings, where frequently used Scan, Copy and Fax settings can be saved into the device’s memory. The MAXIFY series offers more control to its users by allowing business owners to track and monitor their records of print, scanning, copying or faxing just by accessing the LCD display.

MAXIFY MB5370 is priced at Rs. 23,995/-, while MAXIFY MB5070 and MAXIFY iB4070 priced at Rs. 17,995/- and Rs. 10,995/- respectively.
