by CIO AXIS

Accenture  and Cisco  have expanded their long-standing global alliance to Brazil through the Accenture & Cisco Business Group (ACBG), a joint group dedicated to help clients leverage business opportunities, reduce costs and improve productivity through the combination of Accenture’s industry and business process expertise with Cisco’s experience in advanced technology architectures.

Through the introduction of the ACBG in Brazil, Accenture will provide solutions for clients’ key business areas, with technologies that meet their needs, by leveraging direct access to Cisco’s complete portfolio for optimized delivery time and cost-effectiveness. ACBG will provide network transformation solutions to large organizations from a range of industries, working on clients’ strategic plans, offering specific solutions based on Cisco technology for the Internet of Everything (IoE) and cloud computing among others.

Key vertical industries that will be served by the alliance partnership in Brazil are: Communications, Media and Technology, Financial Services, Resources (Energy, Mining and Utilities) and Products (Automotive and Consumer). Cisco’s architectures that will be used include Data Center & Networking Infrastructure, Wireless, Unified Communications & Collaboration including Cisco Contact Center Solutions and Security in addition to IoE and Cloud technologies.

ACBG, which already operates in the United States, Canada, Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific, enhances collaboration between the two organizations to increase competitiveness in the market. The plan is to build upon the partnership in Brazil and extend to other Latin America countries in the coming years, led by the same Brazil launch executive team.
