Sameer Garde has joined in a senior role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise India.
Garde will be vice president and general manager of Enterprise Group at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) India.
Neelam Dhawan managing director of HP India since 2008 will continue as the country head for the enterprise group of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Garde’s longest career stint has been with Dell from 2004 to 2013 serving senior roles in India and APJ. He was president and MD of Dell India when he quit the company in May 2013.
Sameer Garde’s appointment with HPE India was confirmed by the company.
“We confirm the following Hewlett Packard Enterprise roles in India. Neelam Dhawan will be Country Managing Director, Enterprise Group, India and Sameer Garde has been appointed as Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Group, India,” said the official statement from HPE.
HP split in November this year into HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise led to each company accordingly streamlining their resources including the roles of the senior executives and also inducting new ones from the industry.
The India team too has strengthened its team for more impetus on the enterprise portfolio of the newly formed entity HPE.
