Microsoft Warns Azure Customers about Security Vulnerability

In a blog post from its security response team, Microsoft said it had addressed the vulnerability disclosed by Palo Alto Networks and had no evidence that malicious hackers had exploited the technique.

Some of the Azure cloud computing customers were alerted by Microsoft that a security flaw identified by security researchers could have given hackers access to their data.

It stated that certain consumers have been told to change their login credentials as a precaution.

In July, Palo Alto reported the flaw to Microsoft. Zelivansky Nonetheless, this is the second majorf flaw discovered in Microsoft’s core Azure system in as many weeks. Wiz security experts described a database flaw in late August that could have allowed one customer to change the data of another.

Microsoft wrote on Wednesday “Out of an abundance of caution, notifications were sent to customers potentially affected by the researcher activities,”
