The security vulnerabilities discovered by security experts at Google’s Project Zero, may have been ‘actively exploited’ by programmers, according to Apple.
Apple has released a security patch for its iPhones, iPads, and iWatches to update a security vulnerabilities that has been targeted by hackers. According to The Verge, the security update is available as iOS 14.4.2 and iPadOS 14.4.2, and it also includes a patch for older devices as iOS 12.5.2. WatchOS has also been upgraded to version 7.3.3.
Apple said in a statement that programmers may have “actively exploited” the vulnerability discovered by security experts at Google’s Project Zero. The security flaw has been discovered in WebKit, the program motor that controls the Safari program on all Apple devices.

According to The Verge, it is still unknown who is successfully exploiting the security flaws or who may have been a victim.
Apple did not specify whether the cyber attack was limited to a small number of clients or whether it was a broader one. According to The Verge, this is the third time that Apple has released a security update this year to resolve vulnerabilities in complex attacks.
