Uniken announced the first edition of the Uniken Security Innovation Summit 2014 in partnership with Indian Software Product Industry Round Table (iSPIRT), a think-tank of next-generation software product companies. The summit will bring together industry thought leaders to address global cyber-security concerns and find ways to Securing Digital Enterprises: Today, Tomorrow & Beyond.

The Summit will seek to foster a debate and discussion on emerging advanced cyber-threats, their impact on businesses and possible security solutions and models. Top security experts, Mr. Tal Mozes, Leader of Hackticks Security Center at EY, Tel Aviv, Israel and Mr. Menny Barzilay, Head of IT Audit, Bank Hapoalim, Tel Aviv, Israel will deliver keynote addresses. While Tal Mozes will speak about emerging global trends and threats in the domain of cyber-security, Menny Barzilay will share insight on global best practices in future proofing an organisation’s cyber-security approach. Mr. Sameer Ratolikar, CISO, Axis Bank, will also host an interactive session to address challenges in cyber-security for Indian organisations.

Speaking about the event, Sanjay Deshpande, CEO & Co-Founder, Uniken, said, “Given many of the recent organised data breaches, it is becoming clear that info-security is no longer the concern of just technology practitioners in an organisation. Given the financial, legal and reputational impact of such breaches on organizations, we strongly endorse the view that cyber-security and risk mitigation strategies need to be woven into all boardroom decisions. The Uniken Security Innovation Summit is our effort to bring together industry thought leaders and decision makers to finding future-proof solutions to protect organisations against the evolving threat landscape.”
