Over the Last Year, TCS’ Cybersecurity Deals have Increased by Thrice
Over the last 12 months, Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) cybersecurity deals have increased by at least 2.5 to 3X. According to a senior TCS official, it is currently actively scaling up its offerings in this domain, with plans to recruit 3,000 to 3,500 employees for cybersecurity alone in FY23.
TCS Cyber Defense Suite, a 360-degree set of modular cyber security services offered under a platform, was launched globally last week. This includes all of its stand-alone services, such as its SaaS platform for automated vulnerability remediation and cyber threat management centre solutions, to mention a few.
In October 2020, in the midst of cyber security threats and data breaches, TCS launched ten threat management centres throughout the world, including in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, and India. The purpose was to assure privacy and data protection in accordance with the policies of several governments across the globe. TCS was able to rely on these threat management centres to provide localised services when mobility of its employees was limited because to the Covid pandemic.
