Nextiva, an industry-leading cloud-based communications company, announced that its new app, which seamlessly integrates its business phone service with Zendesk Inc.’s platform, a leading cloud-based customer service software company, is now available.
The Nextiva App for Zendesk makes customer information and account history instantly available to business users. It integrates user’s Nextiva phone service to Zendesk’s customer service platform, thereby allowing businesses to provide a highly efficient and personalized customer interaction. The technology allows access to customer information via the phone number associated with the account and the number the customer is calling in from. Additionally, the app permits servicing staff to make outbound calls directly from their desktops, eliminating the potential for misdialing.
The app is free for users of Nextiva’s cloud phone service and Zendesk’s customer service platform. There is no additional software needed or additional applications setup. Users can simply install the Nextiva App from Zendesk’s app store. From there, they can begin increasing productivity and decreasing frustration related to the time wasted searching for customer account information and call history.
“Zendesk’s mission is to help organizations build long-term relationships with their customers,” said Sam Boonin, Vice President of Product and Platform at Zendesk. “Working together with Nextiva, we’re able to make it easier for businesses to manage their customer interactions across phone, email, web, social and chat.”
“We are excited to partner with Zendesk on our new app and provide our shared customers with an effective tool to improve the customer experience,” says Josh Lesavoy, Nextiva’s Chief Information Officer. “Here at Nextiva, we are passionate about providing customers with Amazing Service®, and this app is the perfect avenue for us to help businesses provide the same level of service to customers by increasing efficiency and eliminating time wasted searching for customer information.”
