With Digital transformation, CIOs have to play the role of business strategists as it is directly connected to organizational growth.
How is JK Cement taking digital transformation ahead? Give an overview of emerging technologies such as IoT, cloud, AI, robotics and RPA you are in the process of deploying at JK Cement.
JKCL is working along with business to digitalize certain processes with the help of RPA, Intelligence processing of information using AI, IoT at logistics and manufacturing and of course, cloud is an integral part of this entire journey.
What are your roles and responsibilities as a CIO?
The roles and responsibilities include building enterprise wide digital strategy, information security and other IT functions. Working closely with business in digital journey.
Since insiders have more access to information, what kind of processes do you have in place to prevent unauthorized use of information? How is JK Cement’s cyber security strategy going forward?
A dedicated information and data security vertical is in place for the purpose (reporting to CIO)
