HDB Financial Services Appoints Ranjan Revandkar as CISO

After nearly four years with Sun Pharma, Revandkar joins HDB Financial Services.

Ranjan Revandkar has left Sun Pharma and has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at HDB Financial Services.

HDB Financial Services is a non-banking financial company that provides services to both individuals and business clients. HDB Financial Services Limited is a subsidiary of HDFC Bank and has around 1400 branches.

Ranjan will be in charge of the financial services company’s cybersecurity and risk management domains in his new role.

He previously worked as Head-Information Security at Sun Pharma for over four years.

Ranjan has over 14 years of professional experience in the banking industry, having previously worked for RBL Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and HDFC Bank.

Ranjan graduated from University of Mumbai with a bachelor in engineering. He also has a Postgraduate diploma in management as well as a diploma in Cyber Law.
