Clubhouse Rolls Out New Bug Bounty Program in Partnership with HackerOne

by CISOCONNECT Bureau

Replays, download audio creators, and other new features have recently been added to Clubhouse, the audio-only social media app. Following the previous feature-packed update, the company has begun rolling out a new update that includes support for closed captioning.

Clubhouse has also launched a public Bug Bounty program. The bounties will be in the range of $100 to $3000. For this program, Clubhouse has collaborated with HackerOne, which also features a Safe Harbor Clause that protects security researchers from legal ramifications. Hackers who are interested can sign up on the Hacker One website.

Speaking about the Bug Bounty, Michiel Prins, Co-Founder at HackerOne said, “Clubhouse’s public bug bounty program will offer their in-house security team continuous testing support from a diverse pool of talent through our global community of more than 1 million hackers. We look forward to seeing the program’s results and how insights from the program will shape Clubhouse’s overall cybersecurity strategy.”
