Prakash Sethuraman has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of CloudBees, an enterprise software delivery firm.
Sethuraman previously worked at HSBC as the global head of cloud security. He oversaw digital strategy and architecture at HSBC, assisted the organisation drive public cloud and container adoption and led the development of global Open Banking platform that is used in 19 countries.
Sethuraman will head a specialised cybersecurity team focused on cloud and container security at HSBC, where he helped implement new security processes to secure the U.K.-based bank as it accelerated its journey toward cloud and container ecosystems operating at scale.
In his new role as CISO in CloudBees, he will lead the security strategy and the company’s product line. Sethuraman brings wealth of experience from driving digital and security projects for companies in highly regulated industries that rely on mission-critical applications.
Prior to joining HSBC, Sethuraman has held a number of technical leadership positions.
