With Training Advancement Agenda, Fortinet Hopes to Close Gap in Cyber Security Skills

by CISOCONNECT Bureau

TAA is a Fortinet NSE Training Institute initiative that aims to make cyber training and job opportunities more available to everyone

The NSE Training Institute has welcomed new global partners working alongside Fortinet to close the cybersecurity skills gap, in addition to recently expanding NSE offerings, including the extension of more than 30 free, self-paced technical training courses.

When stressed security teams are short staffed, the cyber skills deficit is a top concern for CISOs because it contributes to security threats and the potential for bad actors to exploit vulnerabilities. According to Fortinet, the Network Security Expert (NSE) Training Institute, which includes the Certification Program, the Security Academy Program, the Veterans Program, Authorized Training Centers, and the Information Security Awareness and Training Service, was created to resolve the industry’s widening cyber skills gap.
